Sand Stone House Bee Rescue

Lovely couple, lovely house! The bees found a home in a listed sand stone building on the first floor wall, just underneath the roof. Gently drilled out stone block work to reveal the combs, started to remove the bees and the extracted the comb, very calm natured bees, easy to work with, customers were very interested in the whole process so we took the time to show the video and photos as we went along. We had to acquire hydrated lime from a not so local building supplier to try and match the mortar used for the sand stone wall. Customers were very happy with the job done, Bees were taken to quarantine ready to be later re-homed.
