Bathroom Bees
The bees found a home in a cavity left in a bathroom after renovation. Initially we made our way in from outside where honeybees used as access point. After further investigation, we moved inside the bathroom and took a panel off from side wall to reveal the rest of the colony and combs. The rest was pretty straight forward, gathered the honey bees, cut the combs out and tidy up. We blocked the entrance and filled the gap to stop the bees coming back. Foraging bees that were out were able to find their family in a NUC box we left just outside the original entrance.
